A Campfire as big as Yosemite
As a highlight of July outdoor activities, Calidocious® Inc. hopes to some day stage an eco-friendly "Firefall" display in Yosemite Valley. This "Firefall" project was inspired by the original "Firefall" displays at Yosemite National Park during the 1960s. Those displays were created by pushing a pile of burning embers over the side of one of the cliffs of Yosemite Valley.

Although the displays were ultimately stopped due to ecological concerns , they had become a California icon. The Rock mega-band "Firefall" derived its name from the spectacles. Now, using modern technology, Calidocious® Inc. hopes to recreate the "Firefalls" with minimal environmental impact.

A collection of several thousand "fireballs©" like the one below ( 2 inches/5 cmm tall), when pushed over a cliff, would create a similiar effect to the original Firefall. The "fireball©" contains multiple superbright LED lights which are powered by a watch battery. To maximize battery life, the "fireballs©" contain a magnetic switch which is actuated just prior to deployment.

And just coincidentally, the firefall colors are the same as the colors of Brabant and Flanders. For more information, please contact Calidocious® Inc. at 333 Cobalt Way, Suite 107, Sunnyvale, CA 94085 or Zeelands@sbcglobal.net.
