The 'Calidocious Way'©

Construction- Will overview how speaking Flemish can enhance the
"California Experience". Flemish can be described as 'Sideways Dutch'©, and Coastal Highway 101 can be described as the 'Sideways Highway' of California, from the novel Rex Pickett'. Calidocious Inc. believe the two 'Sideways' concepts fit each other well. Although the novel 'Sideways' is about Hwy. 101 South of San Luis, and 'Sideways Dutch'© Country is based on Hwy. 101 North of Big Sur, the book fits Northern California well.

|
| The target areas for promoting Flemish are
the schools, universities, and communities along Highway 101, from Carmel in the South, to Santa Rosa in the North.
These communities are overlays of the Spanish Mission communities along
El Camino Real in the 1600 to 1800s. El Camino Real, or ' The Royal Road', was the
main highway of the Old Spanish Colony of California.

| In addition to Missions, other leitmotifs of the
'Sideways' Highway include the ever nearby
Pacific Ocean, coastal mountains, vineyards, eucalyptus trees, California poppies, sea lions, migratory birds, Zen Centers, and fog.

'Sideways Dutch'© Country is unique because it is both "Mellow" and "Invigorating" at the same time. It is a combination of gentle coastal valleys and soaring mountains. The Big Sur area is particularly known for being this way.
Highway 1 is secondary highway to 101. Both highways usually follow the same route in Northern California. Highway 1 occasionally makes a detour along the coast.

Sideways English- Home of 'Boontling' |
|
| One of the most interesting sideways attractions of California is the made-up "Boontling" dialect of Anderson Valley. Around 1900, the people of the valley began to create a new dialect by substituting words for English words.
A "telephone", for example, became a "Bucky Walter". "Bahl Hornin" meant "Cheers" (good drinking). Unfortunately, Boontling has now pretty much "Piked for the Dusties" (died).
