A "language" company that sells chocolate
Although the flagship product of Calidocious Inc.® is chocolates, the company is actually built around a much different stock in trade. Calidocious Inc.® is primarily a corporation that seeks to market Burgundian-flemish culture in the United States. Burgundian culture can be summed up as 'The Art of Living Well'. Good food and good times are hallmarks of Burgundian culture.

| The best way to embrace Burgundian culture is by learning one of the modern Burgundian languages- French, or Flemish. Unfortunately, French has never mixed very well with English. The two can be compared to oil and water. Calidocious Inc.® believes Flemish may stand a better chance of becoming a second language for English speakers, even though it is currently spoken by only 6 million people. Flemish is quite similar to standard Dutch, except it is pronounced with a French accent. Calidocious Inc.® proposes to market Flemish as"California Dutch©", ie. a "laid back" variant of Dutch. To make "California Dutch" more accessible to English speakers, Calidocious Inc.® proposes to slightly simplify the Dutch rules for spelling and for formation of pronouns. To make the name "California Dutch" more catchy, Calidocious Inc.® has nicknamed the Flemish variant of Dutch "Zoot".

Because the challenge of convincing English
speakers to learn a second language is daunting, Calidicious Inc.®
proposes to use the teaser of Burgundian chocolates to hook Americans
on "California Dutch©", (This idea comes from German and Yiddish traditions in
which a child is given a sweet after the first day at school.) Calidocious Inc.® also plans to market a line of "fun" products under the "Zoot" mark. Since children learn second languages effortlessly up to the age of six or seven, Calidocious Inc.® plans to primarily support multilingual training for preschoolers and for students in the first and second grades.

| In addition to using Calidicious® candy, and Zoot entertainment to "hook" people on "California Dutch©", Calidocious Inc.® seeks to popularize activities which showcase Burgundian, and particularly Flemish-burgundian culture. Burgundians are renowned not only for their expertise as chocolatiers and wine makers, but for their festive spirit and their aptitudes as graphic artists, as administrators, etc. Calidocious Inc.® hopes the success of
the festivals will in turn translate into increased demand for "California Dutch©" among English speakers..

Calidocious Inc.™ plans to contribute most of its profits to bilingual "California Dutch©" education in the United States.
